Mine starts pretty much the same as yours: "Diabetes / Insulin Pump / Allergic to Penicillin" and has been the same for 30 years. Only the second line has changed from "Takes Insulin" to "Insulin Dependent" to "Insulin Pump". It doesn't even say Type 1 on it, and as I've come to learn, the fact that I wear a pump doesn't necessarily imply that.

But I never thought of putting my kids' names on there. I can teach the older one about diabetes, but not the younger one... not yet.

You've sure put a lot of thought into what you had engraved. But having said all of that, I sincerely hope nobody ever needs to read it.Scott Ehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00259475635753627498noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8605058834859215403.post-42134126654500731102012-07-01T15:50:36.999-07:002012-07-01T15:50:36.999-07:00Having had two incidents where I was unable to spe...Having had two incidents where I was unable to speak for myself, I can't urge you strongly enough to have it. And I don't even have kids!

Also, I now have this urge to come to your house & just hug the stuffing out of you & those babies. And I need a tissue. I better start with the tissue. Wouldn't want to scare the babies. :)Princess LadyBughttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00095851323067138991noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8605058834859215403.post-87766183911639760392012-05-31T13:20:11.415-07:002012-05-31T13:20:11.415-07:00Wow.
