You Can Do This

Kim Vlasnik, who blogs about diabetes at Texting My Pancreas, had a brilliant idea for an awareness and support initiative for people with diabetes - the You Can Do This project.

Here is my contribution, recorded during my only consistently quiet time of the day - NAP TIME! :)

  1. Thank you so much for posting this. We have been struggling for about 9 months now with Cara's A1C. No matter how hard me try we just can't get it down and now her Dr. will not let us go on the pump because of it. I just feel so lost and burned out. Thank you for making me see that we will make it through this "rough patch" and we will get to our goal of pumping for Cara.

  3. Thank you so much for sharing, Melissa. This is a great post, and what an achievement there in the back carseat to be able to show off. Congrats, my friend, and thank you for being an inspiration to so many others that they too CAN do it.

  4. Inspiring, Melissa.

It's amazing the difference in advice we now get. There is such an intensity now, it's almost like the pendulum has swung the other way. I'm so thankful for the wealth of information that is currently available so we can get this as right as possible and I'm sorry that there was so much misinformation out there for you.
