Munchkin Mascots

Today's Prompt: Health Mascot. Give yourself, your condition, or your health focus a mascot. Is it a real person? Fictional? Mythical being? Describe them. Bonus points if you provide a visual!

I remember serving as the mascot of my brother's cub scout den. I'm sure it wasn't officially sanctioned. But it was adorable. My mom, their den leader, made me a "uniform"- a tiny yellow t-shirt with "pup scout" in navy lettering. I think it's still on a hanger in a closet in my parents' house nearly thirty years later.

Being a mascot was really important. I had the title before I knew what it meant, but at age 3, I was sure it was very important. It meant I got to go everywhere my brother went and annoy a whole group of 8 year old boys with my importance.
I haven't changed much. Anyway...

I'm going to make Sweetie and Dibbs my unofficial, unsanctioned mascots for the Diabetes Online Community today. In part because, where I go right now, so go they.

Sweetie can be the embodiment of fearlessness, warmth, and love of cupcakes that each member of the DOC possesses.
Dibbs can be a stand-in for the cheeky (heh) humor and unspoken (unless you count "ah goo"), unconditional love we know we have for one another.
